Anglo-Chinese £3m research

The University of Leeds has signed a £3 million collaborative research deal with the Chinese Sinochem Group to fund six projects in colour science, semiconductors, polymer development and plant science, and covering transgenic technology, new materials and anti-counterfeit technologies. Sinochem is one of China's four state oil companies and is its biggest agricultural supplier and the leading chemical service company.
