Council must not accept 'roll back' on air quality, says EEB

The Environment Council must not accept any lowering of current air quality standards when it adopts a political agreement on 23 October, the European Environmental Bureau has written in a 3 October letter to Jan-Erik Enestam, the Finnish minister who as current EU president will chair the meeting (see also story p3).
