SCP plan to be released on 16 July, Commission promises

The "waiting for Godot" state of the Sustainable Consumption and Production/Sustainable Industrial Policy (SCP/SIP) package is expected to come to an end next week, a European Commission DG Environment official told EE & PL this week. Although "promises" on release dates have been made before, this date does look more certain, as a press conference is also scheduled for 16 July.
