Commission to release review of waste strategy

The European Commission will release its long awaited review of the 2005 Thematic Strategy on the prevention and recycling of waste this Wednesday (19 January).This report will draw on the study being completed by the Institute for European Environment Policy, and discussions and additional feedback from stakeholders in four working groups - on implementation, waste prevention, international influence and on the EU recycling market.
