Finland's new packaging decree could be approved in autumn 2013 and in force May 2014 along with other regulations on packaging, according to the latest forecast from the Ministry of the Environment. The Ministry is setting up a workshop in November to draft the decree, and the packaging sector is asked to present any possible proposals well before it starts.
