The Environmental Protec-tion Agency is seeking to make the cleanup of waste sites more efficient and to reinstate taxes to help finance the cleanup of superfund sites, an EPA official told state regulators Aug. 31.rnLisa Feldt, deputy assistant EPA administrator for solid waste and emergency response, said the agency is committed to making cleanups quicker by administer-ing its programs with more flexibility.
