China Accused of Selling Solar Panels In EU at Prices Below Production Costs

The European Commission launched an investigation into Chinese solar panel imports Sept. 6 after concluding sufficient evidence exists that they are being sold in the EU market at prices below production costs. The antidumping probe comes despite calls by German Chancellor Angela Merkel during an August visit to China for the Commission to resolve the dispute through negotiations.
