Honda Meets With White House OMB,Voices Support for EPA's Tier 3 Standards

Representatives of American Honda Motor Co. have told White House officials that the company supports the Environmental Protection Agency's expected Tier 3 vehicle and gasoline standards. Honda representatives said during a March 20 meeting with Office of Management and Budget and other administration officials that federal vehicle emissions standards need to be aligned with California's existing standards so one vehicle fleet can meet the same regulations nationwide.
