PERSONAL EXPOSURES TO CARBON MONOXIDE IN THE CITY OF ATHENS: I. COMMUTERS' EXPOSURES

摘要

This study commuters' exposures to CO in the Greater Athens Region (GAR) and identifies factors affecting the variation in the CO concentrations they encountered in both indoor and outdoor microenvironments. Personal CO exposures of commuters were measured by personal exposure monitors (PEMs) during the winter and spring months of 1992-1993. The results of this study indicated that different activities and microenvironments (indoors, outdoors, and during commuting) affect individuals' exposure rates.
