Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) introduces his long-awaited bill to amend the 1976 statute.rnLast year, EPA, industry and environmental groups released competing principles for TSCA reform that many observers said indicated significant agreement - at least in broad outline - on the need for reform, a new safety standard against which to gauge chemical risks, additional authority and resources for EPA and more transparent information for the public, although key differences still remained.
