William MacCallum is an engineer, technical writer and security manager with many years experience working mainly in defence, and has been instrumental in developing Australian Department of Defence computer security policy. While most of his work has resulted in many classified manuals and documents, he perceived a need for an unclassified document that would cover all aspects of system security. As such, Governance of Security Systems is a handbook for designing and implementing a security program that will assist in protecting businesses.
