Alan Finkel

In january, Dr Alan Finkel became president of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE), a body of 825 fellows at the highest levels of science and engineering. Finkel has driven the development of ATSE's new five-year strategic plan and is the original champion of ATSE's successful STELR (Science and Technology Education Leveraging Relevance) program established in 350 schools in Australia, Singapore and New Zealand.
