Darren Watt

As global vice president of people, Darren Watt is responsible for human development (HR), sustainable development and health, safety and environment. Since stepping up last year to join the global executive team from his previous role as vice president Australasia, Watt has led the development of a global strategy for people development and the creation of a new global function. He has been involved in creating a new corporate body lan- guage for Golder, helping its people connect to its strategy through a refreshed "Balanced Scorecard". He has also implemented a revised engagement methodology to sense "the pulse of Golder", which helps the company understand current and future trends through its workforce.
