The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Dept. has selected Lockwood Andrews & Newnain Inc. to design a new reclaimed water distribution pipeline in Dade County. The project consists of approximately 16,000 linear ft of 16-in.-dia pipeline from the Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant Water Reclamation Facility to the Crandon Park Golf Course in Key Biscayne, and 6,000 linear ft of 12-in.-dia pipeline from die Crandon Park Golf Course to the Village of Key Biscayne. Construction of the estimated $7-million project is expected to start in February 2010.
