California Jacobs Engineering Group has been awarded a contract by Orange County to provide construction-management services for construction of a new passenger terminal at John Wayne Airport in Orange County. With an estimated construction value of $249 million, the project consists a new 274,000-sq-ft terminal building, six new bridged aircraft gates; additional boarding facilities for up to seven regional commuter jets and facilities to house federal inspection services, and the deconstruction of an existing parking structure.
