VIRGINIA The Naval Facilities Engineering Command has awarded a $12.8-million firm-fixed-price design-build contract to S.B. Ballard Construction Co. for a Navy Ordnance Cargo Logistics Training Complex at the Naval Weapons Station at Yorktown, the Cheatham Annex, in Williamsburg. The work will be performed at three sites and include five structures containing administrative offices, training classrooms, a warehouse, maintenance shops, a vehicle maintenance facility, support spaces, a mock warehouse, a mock pier, a mock cargo hold and a chemical, biological and radiological test chamber.
