Maryland Hensel Phelps Construction Co. has started construction of the Social Security Administration data center in Urbana. The project entails the construction of a 300,000-sq-ft main national data-center building, which will contain data, office and warehouse space. The building will incorporate energy-efficient heating and cooling systems and on-site renewable-energy sources.
