Prices for most construction pipe products declined this month, according to ENR's 20-city average price. Reinforced-concrete pipe prices fell 0.4%, according to ENR's 20-city average price for four pipe sizes ranging from 12 in. to 48 in. in dia. The August decline left the average price for this group of RCP 4.3% below a year ago. Prices for corrugated-steel, vitrified-clay, ductile-iron, polyethylene underdrain and PVC sewer pipes all fell this month. Prices for PVC water pipe increased about 0.4% this month but remain between 0.5% and 3.5% below a year ago. Prices for copper water tubing also fell in August.
