Heavy-Duty Cranes and Lift-Plan Software Facilitate Construction of New Tampa Connector Toll Road

In Tampa, construction of the new I-4/Selmon Crosstown Expressway Connector is under way by the Florida Dept. of Transportation. With five elevated roadways and two ramps, the north-south toll road is a much-needed interchange between two major east-west highways that will re-route heavy traffic from local roads, provide access to the Tampa port and create another hurricane evacuation route.
