The eurozone crisis has continued to weigh on the performance ofnIT markets across Europe. However, this should not overshadownpositive developments in certain segments of the market. Whilenon the one hand the PC market has been hit hard, tablet sales arenbooming and the release of Windows 8 has ushered in a period ofndevice innovation from vendors. Some enterprises are delayingntenders, while real-time enterprise software, cloud computing andndata analytics are growing fast. BMI expects this pattern of mixednperformance to continue over the medium term as older technologiesnreach maturity while others grow quickly.
