Stacked!

There is a simple, but little known, software procedure that can improve the signal to noise ratio (or resolution) by any amount desired (theoretically). In practice, improvements by a factor often to one hundred can be accomplished by trading off time for resolution. In other words, you can change your microprocessor's 8-bit analog to digital converter to ten or twelve bits. I call the procedure data stacking and it's based on the concept of multiple measures.
