Multimedia signal path in slim portables

The convergence of voice service, high-resolution camera modules, and MP3 or PMP player functions in a single mobile phone design has become a market trend for future middle-to-high-end phones. In addition to the aggressive higher-power (greater-than-700-mW) stereo audio features, video output functions also emerge in cell phone applications. The output format is still mainly CVBS, and some phones even offer the S-video or analog RGB outputs.
