Solid tantalum capacitor is industry's first 63-V part

Featuring a 22-μF capacitance, the Tantamount T97 is presented as the industry's first solid tantalum chip capacitor with a 63-V rating, allowing designers to use solid SMT tantalums to meet the derating requirements in 28-V power supplies. Prior to this, designers had to rely on 50-V tantalums, which are unable to meet derating requirements (both military and best-commercial-practices) of 50% of the rated voltage.
