Simplifying design for ECG/EEG

In March 2010, Texas Instruments introduced the world's first fully integrated AFE IC family for ECG/ EEG, the ADS1298. Prior to these devices, high power consumption and bulky designs limited the portability of ECG and EEG equipment. With the ADS1298 family, manufacturers are developing equipment that is portable, compact, and affordable.
