摘要

A novel method of determining Laplace inverse transform of a typical function using superposition technique is presented. The method suggested makes it possible to determine the Laplace inverse transform of a product of two functions if one of them involves a square wave periodic variation. The technique presented is general in nature and can be used as a useful mathematical tool in the analyses of systems where this type of periodic forcing function is involved. It is found to have several advantages and is explained by an example of determining current response of a simple power electronics circuit in transient as well as steady-state conditions.
