The rapidly growing success of Argentine wine exports since the beginning of 1990s is the result of many factors, among them monetary stabilisation within the country, which encouraged foreign investment and a more international vision for the wine industry, as well as the replanting of previously high-yield, low-quality grapes with more European grape varieties to produce fine wine.
