Final Q-Max vessel gets delivered to Nakilat

Nakilat took the delivery of its final Q-Max LNG vessel Rasheeda (266,000 cbm) from Samsung Heavy Industries. The vessel is on long-term charter to Qatargas. As of 31 August 2010, Nakilat's fleet comprised 25 LNG vessels of 6.1 million cbm, making it the largest LNG shipowner in terms of carrying capacity and second largest in terms of number of vessels owned. Malaysian shipowner MISC has 29 LNG vessels of 3.7 million cbm making it the largest LNG shipowner in terms of number of vessels owned.
