The first thing I saw when I went to the Furniture Fair was the SaloneSatellite, and once again it was what impressed me the most. I was amazed by the energy of the young people, by those from around the world who had come here, showed what they could do and engaged with the event. This year it seemed that even the school Stands were more significant than in the past. There will have been bad things too, but I focused on the positive side and forgot the negative immediately. Certainly, the only problem I felt - like everyone else - was that the week lasted only seven days, or even fewer, and that there were too many events to see. Since none of us is blessed with ubiquity, there were many projects I did not see in person. Milan remains without a doubt the capital of design. The number of events and the number of people there from ali round the world demonstrated this.
