摘要

The operating principle of thermal vision is based on the transformation of natural thermal radiation of objects into visible images. A thermal imager makes it possible not only to examine the object in sufficient detail in the infrared (IR) wavelength range, distinguish essential characteristics, and classify the object, but also to measure the temperature at each point of the object. The accuracy of determining absolute temperatures depends on the parameters of the IR camera and heat production characteristics of the object itself and, in addition, on the air temperature in the room where the measurements are made, which is important for the practical use of thermal imaging in physiology and medicine. Our study was performed to substantiate this statement. The information on the zones of the body with abnormally high or low temperatures can be used to recognize symptoms of more than a hundred diseases even at early stages of pathogenesis.
