摘要

The nature of interactions between enhancers and promoters regulated by them remains obscure. In recent years, it was found that enhancers initiate the synthesis of noncoding RNAs, which is directed towards the promoter. Interestingly, this synthesis proceeds both upstream and downstream of the enhancer and its level in both directions is comparable to the transcription level of the enhancer-controlled gene . The goal of this study was to determine the transcription start sites of noncoding RNAs induced by enhancers (eRNAs).
