What used to be a straightforward manner of choosing suppliers has given way to a much more complex and pressurized system. The increased pressure is not fun for the competing companies, all of which need to be more flexible on terms and pricing, speedier on deliveries and sharper on quality. A crucial way to stand out from the masses is to get people in your organization established as the best thought leaders in your sector.
