Norfund looks to park $100 million in water for the developing world next year

Norwegian investment fund for developing countries Norfund plans to invest $100 million in water, waste-water and waste by the end of 2022 as part of its new focus on green infrastructure. The fund will make between six and ten investments, and it is particularly interested in wastewater treatment and reuse, which solve the twin challenges of contamination and alternative water supply. Although it is relatively unexposed in water to date, it told GWI that its appetite for investments in either companies pursuing works or specific projects in the sector is growing.
