It aims to analyze how family health teams recognize the social context of families with children and adolescents and are linked to these socio-community structures. Observational, exploratory study with three family health teams that relied on the Integrated Multiprofessional Health Residency Program. Active observation of the territory and semi-structured interviews with the teams took place between July and September 2018. It was evaluated bond that these teams had with the social context. 43 social facilities were identified. Community health workers comprised the largest number of respondents (35%), participants (82.3%) reported significant links with all formal education services and with most formal health services. Non-existent links were attributed to the lack of daily relationships with formal and informal resources in the territory. Contributes to the understanding of socio-community relations, including the perspective of intersectoral intervention to expand the problem-solving care.
