Both of my parents are artists. I’ve always had a creative side, and it wasn’t until later in life that I figured out I wanted to be a doctor. While trying to balance my busy maternity practice with my own growing family, I find refuge in drawing. I once read that those in a leadership position should always carve out a margin for themselves. Drawing is my margin.
