摘要

Access to safe drinking water is a basic necessity to ensure good health and well-being. Contamination and pollution causes water borne diseases spreading epidemics. These dangers can be forestalled by the timely analysis of water quality parameters. Applying Science Technology Engineering Mathematics(STEM) to solve real world problems and increasing the effectiveness of teaching standards with our project is also one of our main motives. Students, apart from gaining knowledge theoretically, must also inculcate knowledge through practical activities. In this paper, A prototype is used to analyse and send real-time water quality parameters to a server. Undergraduate freshmen students are subject to pretest and posttest questions to check their knowledge and curiosity change to solve real-life problems using Embedded systems. Random students forming the experimental group are taught using a prototype to analyze the difference in device-based learning. Using the randomized control trials research instruments, survey results from the experimental group outperforms compared to the control group.
