摘要

Two novel photochromic bisthienylethenes (BTEs) containing the tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) unit have been prepared. They are not only photochromic reversible, but TTF can achieve an electrochemically reversible conversion among TTF, TTF˙ ~(+) /TTF _(2) ~(2+) and TTF ~(2+) , accompanied with significant color changes. Explicit interactions between BTE and TTF units in the molecules can be observed.
