Isolation and Characterization of 5,7 – dimethoxy, 4’– propoxyflavone from the Seeds of Mucuna pruriens (Utilis).

摘要

Chemical investigation of the bioactive constituents of the seeds of Mucuna pruriens (Utilis) resulted in the isolation of a new flavone, 5,7 – dimethoxy, 4’– propoxyflavone. The structure was elucidated using NMR spectroscopy in combination with IR and MS spectra data. Keywords: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, flavone.
