Dr Jensen (Author photos 1-12; Video 1, available onlineat www.VideoGIE.org) earned his medical degree at theUniversity of Washington Medical School in Seattle. Hecompleted a medical internship and first-year medical res-idency at University of Oregon and Affiliated Hospitals. Heserved as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and wasDirector of a Preventive Medicine Department. Then hecompleted a second-year medical residency at WadsworthVeterans Administration (VA) Hospital in Los Angeles and afellowship in gastroenterology through a joint program atUCLA and Wadsworth VA Hospitals. He has been on thefaculty at these institutions and a member of the Centerfor Ulcer Research and Education Digestive DiseasesResearch Center (CURE: DDRC) since completion of hisGI fellowship training.
