Avalia??o interdisciplinar em um centro especializado em reabilita??o/ Interdisciplinary evaluation in a rehabilitation specialized center

摘要

Bearing in mind the importance of the interdisciplinary character of rehabilitation services, this analysis seeks to present an interdisciplinary evaluation used in a specialized rehabilitation center in Recife. The evaluation, based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, is part of the patients admission process. Occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech therapists take part in the process. It aims to meet different demands from neurologically demaged patients in a cooperative manner among the three perspectives. Therefore, it was possible to notice its efficiency in seeing the patient as a whole, bringing greater precision to the therapeutical planning.
