Introduction: Cross-sectional studies have revealed independent corre-lations between serum phosphorus and anemia in patients across a widespectrum of chronic kidney disease (CKD). In this study, we wereintended to evaluate the association of baseline phosphorus level withcross-sectional hemoglobin level and its longitudinal variation in pa-tients with CKD stages 1-4.
