In advance of Budget 2020 being announced, the IPU saidthe pharmacy sector is being treated like ’Cinderella’ andthe sustainability of the pharmacy profession is at risk if theGovernment does not act now. The IPU made this call forGovernment action at a briefing to politicians held in earlyOctober, when we also called for a reversal to the savage FEMPIfee cuts imposed on pharmacies since the recession (see pages16-25 for a full report on the briefing).
