摘要

There are various types of microstrip antenna thatcan be used for many applications in communication systems.This paper presents the design of a rectangular microstrippatch antenna to operate at frequency range of 2 GHz to 2.5GHz. This antenna, based on a thickness of 1.6mm FlameRetardant 4 (FR-4) substrate with a dielectric constant ofapproximately 4.4, is a probe feed and has a partial groundplane. After simulation, the antenna performancecharacteristics such as antenna input impedance, VSWR,Return Loss and current density are obtained.
