The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on all aspects of healthcare. One widespread strategy to mitigate the burden of disease is to limit nonessential exposure to healthcare settings by canceling office visits and non-emergent surgeries. The underlying concern is that there is an unknown proportion of patients and staff who are asymptomatic carriers and testing capacity is insufficient to test everyone.
