The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on all aspects of healthcare. One widespread strategy to mitigate the burden of disease is to limit non-essential exposure to healthcare settings by cancelling office visits and non-emergent surgeries. The underlying concern is that there is an unknown proportion of patients and staff who are asymptomatic carriers and testing capacity is insufficient to test everyone.1
