American Water had a busy end to the year, announcing four regulated acquisitions worth a total of $94.7 million. It will acquire the wastewater assets of the Township of Long Hill, NJ for $12.7 million, the wastewater collection assets of Granite City, IL, for $18 million, the water and wastewater systems in the City of Jerseyville, IL, for $43.25 million, and the assets of Fruit-ridge Vista Water Company, CA, for $20.75 million. Meanwhile, the company's long-standing Illinois chief, Bruce Hauk, has been promoted to group president of regulated operations and military services.
