The Role of Regional Superior Sectors in Creating GDP Value Added, Employment Opportunity, Regional Productivity and Human Development Index

摘要

The aim of this study is to examine the role of superior sectors in creating the GDP value-added, employment opportunity and regional productivity as well as the human development index (HDI). This study uses secondary data published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Indonesia from 2008 to 2012 in 33 provinces in Indonesia. This research uses path analysis techniques and data processed using AMOS software version 5. The results show that based on testing of six hypotheses, there are 5 hypotheses are accepted and only one hypothesis is rejected.
