摘要

ABSTRACT In this work a new quaternized N-alkyl chitosan based on prepared polymeric ionic liquid was synthesised and its chemical structure was confirmed using FTIR spectroscopy. The corrosion inhibitive effect of the prepared polymeric ionic liquid on steel corrosion in 1.0 M HCL was studied using different electrochemical techniques. Potentiodynamic polarization data revealed that the prepared ionic liquid reduces both dissolution and hydrogen evolution corrosion reactions. Impedance techniq.
