Prospects of Using Liquid Metal Coolants in Fast Reactors.

摘要

ABSTRACT Results of using sodium and lead-bismuth coolants in nuclear reactors of various applications were studied. Both positive and negative properties of these coolants are presented, as well as the results of development of engineering solutions aimed at the prevention of the impact of negative properties of the above two coolants and also lead coolant, whose characteristics are very close to those of lead-bismuth. Potential of further application of sodium, lead and lead-bismuth coolants .
