ABSTRACT The present study is aimed to explore the pharmacodynamic interaction of mexiletine (class Ib antiarrhythmic drug) with metformin in normal and diabetic rats. The doses of mexiletine and metformin calculations were based on therapeutic dose of human extended to animals [8].
