摘要

The open-loop two-move method is an effective compensation to remove oscillations caused by control valve stiction, but takes too much time for implementation. This paper proposes a new implementation of open-loop two-move compensation method based on the estimation of controller output associated with the desired valve position, but without any assumption of the valve position in oscillation. The proposed method can reduce the time cost and lower the amplitude of open-loop step responses, leading to a quicker response of the process and less negative effect during the compensation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by several examples.
